The Rogers Company Names Rick Busby As New President

Current President Jeffrey Blackwell Retires; New President Sees Tremendous Momentum in Company
Rick BusbyMentor, OH – May 3, 2016 – The Rogers Company announced today that Jeffrey Blackwell, after 15 years of service, is retiring from his position as the company’s president and that Rick Busby has been named as the new president. After working extensively with Blackwell and his team, Busby has taken over as president of the company as of April 1, 2016. The Rogers Company is a leader in designing and building immersive marketing environments including trade show displays, show rooms and permanent branded installations for clients in the U.S. and around the world.

“This is an exciting time for me and for the Rogers Company,” said Busby who has worked for decades in the creative capital and branding industries. “Getting to know Jeff’s team has been a tremendous opportunity and I’m looking forward to working with the team and our clients in the future.”

Busby brings to Rogers a wealth of experience working with global brands and products in both the Consumer and B2B spaces. In executive leadership positions at American Greetings he oversaw the strategic planning and product placement with major brand partners, and was highly involved with manufacturing and global sourcing on the forecasting and execution of key categories for the organization. Another career highlight for Busby was at Golden Books Family Entertainment, a highly recognized children’s literature publisher and consumer brand.   Busby worked for Golden Books in management capacities of sales, marketing, and supply chain.
