Telix Pharmaceuticals Combines Custom Booth Design and Hospitality at SNMMI 2023
Telix Pharmaceuticals chose Rogers to help deliver an incredible trade show booth experience at the Society of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging’s (SNMMI) 2023 meeting in Chicago.
Telix leveraged every angle of this 30’ x 30’ island exhibit to introduce its new Illuccix® product. An impressive center display featured embedded video and large format graphics with secure storage inside. Branded counters on the corners, tables and chairs, and a comfortable lounge area gave visitors the perfect space to engage, relax and enjoy the hospitality Telix included in its booth. Artisan grilled cheese, freshly brewed coffee, a frozen cocktail bar and even custom-branded candies captured the senses and encouraged attendees to stop in and stay a while.
A new hanging sign above and deep blue carpet below created great visual contrast to the hall’s red aisleways and a polished overall feel for this amazing booth.

The Rogers Company Receives 2023 Business Impact Award for Contributions to Workforce Development Program
The Rogers Company has been recognized for its contributions to the Mentor School District’s Career Tech Education (CTE) Program and is a recipient of the district’s 2023 Business Impact Award.
The CTE program is part of the Lake Shore Compact, a career technical consortium serving the Mentor, Euclid and Wickliffe, Ohio school systems to prepare students for college, technical school or a career of their choosing. Mentor High School works closely with the community, including city officials, the Chamber of Commerce and local businesses, to provide internship opportunities for students while simultaneously earning high school and college credits. CTE offers more than 20 programs across a wide range of fields, including business administration, marketing, IT, manufacturing, healthcare, education, robotics, construction and more.
Rogers has been involved with the program since 2016, providing paid internships for ten students thus far. Three of those students have returned to Rogers for full-time employment after completing their formal education programs, while others have pursued advanced degrees and successful careers with the knowledge they gained. The Rogers Company credits Jim Capel, who heads the Construction Management program, along with Drew McKnight and Lauren Tousignant, heads of the Marketing and Business Administration (MBA) program, for selecting internship candidates that are a perfect fit for Rogers.

“CTE students are learning transferrable skills, networking with local business leaders and building a solid foundation for their future,” states Dr. Joe Glavan, Director of the Lake Shore Compact. “The work-study program is individualized to each student’s goals and strengths – and matched to the needs of the businesses with whom we partner.”
Rick Busby, President of The Rogers Company, also serves on the advisory council for the CTE program. “Supporting Mentor Schools, along with their students, teachers and curriculum, is a strategic focus for The Rogers Company,” says Busby. “We take great pride in helping develop students for both college and today’s workforce. This program, and having high school students work throughout the year at Rogers, has become an incredible morale booster for our company.”
McKnight adds, “Our mission at Mentor Public Schools is to inspire students today to reach their potential tomorrow. Few individuals and organizations have made as significant an impact on the students as Rick Busby and The Rogers Company. It is safe to say that our program would not be where it is today without the influence of this valuable business partner, and we congratulate them on this well-deserved award.”
Mentor, Euclid and Wickliffe High School students interested in the CTE program can apply online through the Lake Shore Compact’s Career Tech Website at lakeshorecompact.org. Local businesses interested in employing these highly motivated and well-trained students are encouraged to email Dr. Glavan for additional information.

Trade Show Booth Must Haves – Essentials for any trade show exhibit
Trade shows are an integral part of most annual marketing plans, and choosing the right booth elements is critical to the success of your exhibitions. A well-executed trade show display helps you stand out in a show hall filled with competitors and potential customers. But that’s just the first step. Once you get attendees into your booth, it’s even more important to create positive experiences with your brand, people and products that help drive future sales.
The requirements for any trade show display will depend on your business objectives, industry and target prospects, but some general items are essential for most trade show booths. These include:
Great brand messaging: One of the key outcomes for any exhibitor at a show is brand impressions. As marketers, we know that brand awareness – while difficult to measure – is the first step to closing a sale. No matter your booth size and budget, ensuring that your company name, logo and colors are visible is fundamental. A well-designed booth will take that even further with brief, impactful messaging and graphics that clearly communicate what makes your company great.

Product demonstrations: The number one reason people attend shows is to see new products. While the internet is a great place to start research, the ability to see, touch, hear, smell or taste your product can only be accomplished in person. Whenever possible, you should take your most important products to the show hall so potential buyers can have those sensory experiences they seek by attending the event.

Technology: Sometimes, your products are too large or unwieldy to take to a trade show. This is where technology comes in. When guided by your skilled sales team, interactive or virtual reality demonstrations are still a great way to create memorable experiences for visitors. When your product is technology, you can enhance the visitor experience by including tangible elements in your booth design. For example, if your product is shipping software, labeled shipping cartons or simulated packing stations add tactile and visual depth to your trade show display.

Reception area: Available in all shapes and sizes, reception counters give passersby a starting point to engage with your brand. This is especially important when your sales team is busy with other guests. A staffed reception counter offers potential buyers a place to ask questions, wait for an available rep or even have their badge scanned for follow-up after the show.

Easy navigation: Make sure your booth visitors can easily move around your displays, engage, sample and interact. Maximize the pathways into your booth from the aisles, leave ample space for visitors to watch product demonstrations, and consider creating self-serve, interactive kiosks for attendees waiting to talk to a representative.

Secure storage: You’ll need spaces to safely store personal belongings, marketing materials, and other consumables used in your booth. Fortunately, many storage options double as backdrops for messaging and graphics that become integral to your overall booth design and layout.

Trained booth staff: Most exhibitors send their best and brightest sales and technical experts to staff their trade show booths. One of the best ways to ensure a positive ROI from your trade show investment is to ensure your staff understands the show objectives – be that list building, lead generation, brand awareness or any combination of thereof. When everyone works with the same goals, expectations and outcomes align, and success is measurable.

With more than 75 years of experience, we’ve helped companies of all sizes and budgets navigate the complexities of trade show design, fabrication and logistics. Our clients rely on us to help them meet their goals for success – leveraging our team as an extension of their own.
Let us show you why so many clients have partnered with Rogers for decades. Reach out to us for help with your next big event. You’ll be glad you did!

Newell Brands Custom Booth Showcases Life Moments at The Inspired Home Show 2023
With its 100+ renowned labels, Newell Brands demonstrates its mantra of brightening consumers' lives with this year's custom trade show booth at the Inspired Home Show.
If this booth looks familiar, that's because it is! Rogers was thrilled to help Newell create and build this incredible 70' x 110' space that debuted in 2022. The massive double-deck booth features multiple conference rooms upstairs with two giant roof structures hanging from the show hall rafters. Below, a drop ceiling, recessed lighting and numerous product kiosks give the space a high-end retail feel. This year, we re-configured many of the brand-focused displays to depict "Life Moments", including large backlit graphics and true-to-life displays, like a kitchen area and campsite.
Attendees are treated to a large hospitality area with refreshments and plenty of places to relax and engage. Large format graphics, die-cut logos and the ability to see, touch and smell so many of Newell's brands and products provided a truly multi-sensory experience. What more could you expect from a company that brings comfort, convenience and joy to our daily lives?
As always, our gratitude goes out to Newell and its many brands for your trust in The Rogers Company. Thank you for the opportunity to showcase the best Life Moments your company delivers.

ABB Showcases Smart and Sustainable at NECA 2022
The ABB Electrification custom booth at the National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA) trade show proved this company's ability to innovate from the inside out.
It's not every day you see an exhibition booth with a 53-foot trailer tucked neatly behind an LED video wall structure. VIP red carpet and two staircases led visitors to the trailer's interior, which is fully equipped with interactive product demonstrations.
Cue the cool factor with ABB's Formula E electric race car right up front. ABB has been a title partner of Formula E since 2018 and proudly promotes its advancements in e-mobility technology through its involvement in all-electric, zero-emission race cars.
On the other end of this 75' x 40' booth sits a full-size Mobile Solutions truck showcasing ABB's breadth of cable protection, fastening systems and connectivity, and grounding product lines.
But that's not all! This unforgettable trade show booth also featured multiple product demo areas, a presentation stage, hanging signs, conference room, hospitality bar, several storage closets and the signature ABB die-cut logo on the aisle.
For that last little bit of marketing wow factor, ABB also had an "infotainer" in the booth. This information-based-entertainer engaged attendees with magic tricks while also educating them on the ABB brand.
The team at Rogers was proud to bring this incredible space to life with this custom booth build, I&D and labor management. Thank you, ABB, for your ongoing trust in our partnership!

Rogers Supports Four Industry Powerhouses at the 2023 DISTRIBUTECH International Trade Show
Rogers was thrilled to work with four industry-leading clients at this year’s DISTRIBUTECH International trade show.
ABB added a custom 81’ curved hanging sign to its impressive 50’ x 70’ island booth. That curve is echoed in the red portions of the two-toned carpet. Two oversized video towers on the corners and a full-length backwall created a defined space for this leading brand. Product and video kiosks were strategically placed throughout the booth so visitors could quickly find their ideal solutions. Additionally, four individual conference rooms enabled one-on-one conversation and planning.
Capgemini’s branded video tower generated additional height and visibility for its 20’ x 20’ island booth near the back of the hall. High-top tables provided great spaces for attendees to meet with Capgemini’s representatives. A lighted reception desk, custom skirted table and a relaxing lounging area welcomed visitors to this modern, clean booth.
Hitachi Energy featured multiple round and linear hanging signs over its 50’ x 50’ booth space, complemented by 11’ walls for large format graphics and messaging. Freestanding lighted video towers were located throughout the booth, while two conference rooms enabled client meetings at the show. An open lounge area with chairs and tables was also in place for attendees to relax and mingle.
JST Power Equipment increased its footprint to a 40’ x 40’ island booth with a central tower providing secure storage and additional messaging space. A round, rotating hanging sign made the brand visible from any angle. Attendees were drawn to the equipment placed strategically on all four corners and the ample space to move around the booth. Painted pallets doubled as risers for the heaviest machinery and simplified set-up and teardown, while acrylic literature stands allowed attendees to learn about the products on display.
Rogers provided a variety of resources to these great clients, including engineering, design, I&D and labor management. Our continued thanks go out to these outstanding teams for the opportunity to work with you!

Rubbermaid and Canberra Trade Show Booths Sparkle at ISSA 2022
Two of Rogers’ favorite clients, Rubbermaid and Canberra, had a great showing at the ISSA Show in October.
The Rubbermaid trade show booth, in its signature bright yellow, really stood out from the crowd. This 70’ x 50’ island booth featured four lighted hanging columns, two large lighted towers and four distinct zones promoting the company’s key brand messages of durability, ergonomics, efficiency and efficacy. A curved reception counter and wood-look vinyl flooring provided a warm and welcoming space for attendees to visit.
Two back-to-back conference rooms occupied 12’ x 35’ of floor space and provided a great background for large-format graphics. Inside each conference room, Rubbermaid selected conference tables, chairs and 70” monitors from Rogers’ rental fleet.
***
Canberra, a leading manufacturer of cleaning compounds for nearly 60 years, added two conference rooms and plenty of additional storage to its 30’ x 40’ island booth this year. Each conference room included a table and chairs, cabinets for storage, and 65-75” rental monitors. Canberra then leveraged the outer walls of the conference rooms for additional brand messaging.
Three workstations complete with large format, aisle-facing graphics, counters, seating and 40” monitors enabled representatives to present market-specific solutions to booth visitors.
The 4’ x 11’ lighted tower on the corner, large hanging sign and branded reception desk made it impossible to miss Canberra at this busy exhibition.

Many thanks to the teams at Rubbermaid and Canberra for allowing Rogers to provide custom booth design, I&D and labor management services for this event. We look forward to serving you at many more trade shows to come!

QR Codes at Trade Shows – 6 Ways to Market Your Business
QR codes have been around since the 1990s, but they have evolved to become one of the most essential tools for marketing. Modern consumers are constantly using innovative technology to better their experiences and make life easier. By using QR codes, the average person can view nearly anything about a business from their personal mobile device.
Perhaps one of the greatest benefits of QR codes at trade shows is their ability to prompt interaction with attendees. At shows, where countless distractions are coming from all directions, QR codes enable visitors to focus on your brand for a while – and take it with them after the show.
Savvy exhibitors utilize QR codes throughout their booths. You can place QR codes on your large format graphics, on small signs at your reception counter, within videos and on printed collateral. The goal is to place QR codes where they are most likely to be noticed, scanned and utilized by the attendee.

#1 Create Custom Experiences
Relevance is everything when it comes to successful marketing. To effectively leverage QR codes in your trade show marketing, your QR codes should link attendees directly to the product or service page that aligns with their needs and interests. Simply create different QR codes for each product you are featuring at the show, and place those near the product itself.
Pro Tip: Be sure to include a reminder to "Bookmark this Page" on your signage and landing pages!
If you don’t have detailed product pages, you can still create a custom experience by creating a landing page specific to the event. Include pictures of your booth to help with recall, and include information about the products and services you featured in your booth.
And always be sure to make it easy for attendees to reach out to you via an online form, email link or phone number!
#2 Expand & Elaborate Your Value
Amidst the hustle and bustle of trade show events, it can be difficult for attendees to see and recall everything your brand has to offer.
Once a visitor has scanned your QR code and landed on your custom page discussed above, you should be sure that page includes navigation to other important pages on your site, such as About Us, Company History, Mission/Vision/Values and other similar pages. This gives attendees the opportunity to explore your brand at their convenience, and maintains the relevance of the landing page itself.
#3 Get Interactive
QR codes provide a unique opportunity to create an interactive experience for attendees before, during and after the show.
Sweepstakes entries, swag giveaways, test your knowledge quizzes, subscribe/sign-up, and the ability to set appointments with your representatives are all great ways to encourage attendee interaction before, during and after the show.
And if you already have interactive tools on your website, such as online ordering, ratings/reviews or product look-up tools, a QR code can quickly point an attendee to the tools that will help move them toward a buying decision.
#4 Promote Social Media Platforms
One of the best ways to build a brand is to highlight its abilities and services on social media platforms. Attendees can gain further insight of your company’s brand when they see its interactions with the community and the way it presents itself beyond trade shows.
QR codes that link to your social media accounts are a great way to build a deeper relationship with your customers and prospects. When a visitor decides to follow your company, they will continue to receive content from your business with all your future posts.
#5 Get Valuable Feedback
Learning what your customers value most is precious knowledge that fuels your business. By determining what trade show attendees like or dislike about your booth and ways in which it could improve, you can create a plan to make the next show even better.
Simply setting up a QR code to a questionnaire asking for honest and confidential feedback shows that your business is listening and willing to adapt to their needs.
#6 Promote Environmental Friendliness
While it’s always beneficial to have printed resources available for attendees to take home, using QR codes in place of literature can show customers you care about the environment – and save you money on shipping, storage and set-up/teardown labor!
This also saves attendees the hassle of carrying brochures with them on the show floor, or finding room in their luggage to take your literature home.

Rogers Helps Four Clients Power Up Their Brands at IEEE 2022
ABB, Hitachi Energy, Preformed Line Products, and JST Power Equipment did a great job promoting their brands and products at this year’s IEEE Show in New Orleans. The Rogers Company is honored to be a part of the trade show marketing plans of these great clients!
ABB had a sprawling 50’ x 90’ custom island to promote their new line of fire mitigation products and product offerings in the medium voltage transmission and distribution industry. A circular booth centerpiece featured a bear and cub made out of Legos to emphasize the importance of preventing wildfires. And check out that die-cut logo on the aisle. You’re right, ABB. Knowledge is Power!
Hitachi Energy’s eye-catching 50’ x 60’ custom island featured large format graphics matching the brand imagery found throughout their marketing. Promoting the strength of its brand through visuals and messaging, the booth also featured several a/v stations and ample space for visitors to explore. Nice booth, Hitachi.
Preformed Line Products utilized their 30’ x 40’ island by adding a 16’ x 20’ double-deck for hospitality and meeting space. They brought visual relevance to their products with simulated 14’ tall wood power poles and lines to showcase their broad range of energy and communications products. Nine-foot ceilings under the upper deck, large backlit graphics, and multiple product line kiosks brought it all together. Aren’t those glass insulators cool?
Last but not least, JST Power Equipment showcased their switchgear equipment in a classic 30’ x 30’ custom island booth that leveraged every corner to display their products. The center tower with a circular sign mounted on top gave them height to promote their brand while doubling as a locking closet. Large format graphics provide product info while the clean white finish and bright blue carpet really pop. Way to maximize your space, JST.
The Rogers Company completed the design, installation and dismantling, and labor management for each of these clients at IEEE 2022.
Thanks so much to the talented teams at ABB, Hitachi, PLP, and JST. We are thrilled to partner with you to make your shows a huge success!
The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (IEEE) hosts the IEEE Power & Energy Society (PES) Transmission & Distribution (T&D) Conference and Exposition – the world’s largest forum for sharing the latest technological developments in the electric power industry.

Rogers Raises the Roof with Tarkett at the 2022 SURFACES Show
Tarkett Home drew lots of attention with this one-of-a-kind trade show booth at this year’s International Surfaces Show. Made to look like a residential property, the space included a house, garage, and other backyard items that really resonated with B2B buyers at the show.
One of the coolest features, a printed fabric hanging sign, was rigged into position to simulate the roof of the house. The wood-framed house walls were covered with a 16’x24’ printed graphic to look like vinyl siding, while the inside of the house featured multiple displays of Tarkett’s products.
The garage finish was made with 4” wall base manufactured by Tarkett, and an ultra-short-throw projector displayed client content for “outdoor movie night”. Tarkett’s carpet, artificial turf, LVT tile, vinyl flooring and more were incorporated throughout the booth and in custom displays.
A pergola, bar, cornhole boards and dog bowls made the space feel like home.
The Rogers Company took Tarkett’s design concept and brought it to life in this unique 50’x50’ custom island booth. We also handled the I&D and managed the booth labor.
The SURFACES Show is part of the annual International Surface Event. It focuses on bringing together B2B buyers and sellers from around the world to see the latest products, trends and technologies in floor coverings and accessories.
We’d like to thank the team at Tarkett for this awesome showcase opportunity! We’re glad your booth was a big success!

Lucarelli Designs and Displays provides design, fabrication, and production services of custom trade show exhibits, corporate interiors, and meeting spaces. Founded in 1981, Lucarelli has experienced tremendous growth, supporting over 400 clients and completing more than 8000 projects. This acquisition will enable continued growth and provide additional products and services to Lucarelli’s customer base.
As one of the top exhibit houses in the nation, The Rogers Company owns and operates more than 165K square feet of storage and fabrication space in Mentor, Ohio, and Las Vegas, Nevada. Rogers’ products and services include custom booth design, a large rental inventory, access to thousands of modular and portable booth properties, interactive, A/V and virtual technology, lead collection and tracking, roadshows and museum exhibits, corporate environments, and international reach. Both based in greater Cleveland, Rogers and Lucarelli share more than proximity and industry. Dan Lucarelli, founder of Lucarelli Designs and Displays, got his start in the industry when Van Rogers, founder of the Rogers Company, hired him as a designer and sales representative in the 1970s. In keeping with this tradition, Rogers also hired the entire Lucarelli staff as part of the acquisition.
“We greatly value the existing relationships between the Lucarelli team and its clients. Bringing Bill Lucarelli and his team over to Rogers was a given,” said Rick Busby, President of The Rogers Company.
“This acquisition greatly expands our product and services offering,” said Bill Lucarelli, former President of Lucarelli Designs and Displays, now Senior Account Executive at The Rogers Company. “We are confident this merger will better serve our clients now and in the future.”
“At Rogers, we are proud of our reputation for providing world-class customer service,” added Rick. “We welcome the Lucarelli client base and look forward to exceeding their expectations for quality, value, and service.”
