Rogers Acquires Scalise Exhibits
The Rogers Company, an award-winning provider of innovative exhibit and display solutions, announced today the successful acquisition of SCALISE Exhibits, a well-known trade show design and fabrication company based in Erie, Pennsylvania.
Founded in 1997, SCALISE has built a strong reputation for delivering exceptional design and fabrication of custom exhibits for trade shows and marketing events. Their commitment to creativity, quality and customer satisfaction has earned them a loyal client base and distinguished them as a trusted partner in the exhibit space.
As one of the top exhibit houses in the United States, Rogers owns and operates more than 165K square feet of storage and fabrication space in Mentor, Ohio, and Las Vegas, Nevada. The company’s products and services include custom booth design and fabrication, an extensive rental inventory, modular and portable displays, corporate lobbies, showrooms, roadshows, and special events. In-house design, graphics, technology, logistics, I&D and storage services round out the company’s suite of experiential marketing solutions.
SCALISE Exhibits personnel will join the Rogers team just a short drive from their current location.

CES 2024 is taking place in Las Vegas from January 9-12 and we're excited to see all the opportunities this iconic trade show presents for attendees and exhibitors. Since 1967, the annual Consumer Electronics Show has brought together technology companies from around the world with specialties in tech hardware, content, manufacturing, delivery systems, development and more. The Rogers Company Receives 2023 Business Impact Award for Contributions to Workforce Development Program
The Rogers Company has been recognized for its contributions to the Mentor School District’s Career Tech Education (CTE) Program and is a recipient of the district’s 2023 Business Impact Award.
The CTE program is part of the Lake Shore Compact, a career technical consortium serving the Mentor, Euclid and Wickliffe, Ohio school systems to prepare students for college, technical school or a career of their choosing. Mentor High School works closely with the community, including city officials, the Chamber of Commerce and local businesses, to provide internship opportunities for students while simultaneously earning high school and college credits. CTE offers more than 20 programs across a wide range of fields, including business administration, marketing, IT, manufacturing, healthcare, education, robotics, construction and more.
Rogers has been involved with the program since 2016, providing paid internships for ten students thus far. Three of those students have returned to Rogers for full-time employment after completing their formal education programs, while others have pursued advanced degrees and successful careers with the knowledge they gained. The Rogers Company credits Jim Capel, who heads the Construction Management program, along with Drew McKnight and Lauren Tousignant, heads of the Marketing and Business Administration (MBA) program, for selecting internship candidates that are a perfect fit for Rogers.
“CTE students are learning transferrable skills, networking with local business leaders and building a solid foundation for their future,” states Dr. Joe Glavan, Director of the Lake Shore Compact. “The work-study program is individualized to each student’s goals and strengths – and matched to the needs of the businesses with whom we partner.”
Rick Busby, President of The Rogers Company, also serves on the advisory council for the CTE program. “Supporting Mentor Schools, along with their students, teachers and curriculum, is a strategic focus for The Rogers Company,” says Busby. “We take great pride in helping develop students for both college and today’s workforce. This program, and having high school students work throughout the year at Rogers, has become an incredible morale booster for our company.”
McKnight adds, “Our mission at Mentor Public Schools is to inspire students today to reach their potential tomorrow. Few individuals and organizations have made as significant an impact on the students as Rick Busby and The Rogers Company. It is safe to say that our program would not be where it is today without the influence of this valuable business partner, and we congratulate them on this well-deserved award.”

Kichler Lights Up for Designer Week Event
Kichler Lighting held a private event at their Dallas facility, and Rogers was lucky enough to partner with them for the occasion! This 4,000 square foot showroom was transformed into an immersive display of more than 125 fixtures in a variety of design styles and functions.
Designed to introduce new products to visiting interior decorators from across the US, Rogers worked with the existing walls and floors to create this inviting space. We also designed and produced the brand and product graphics scattered throughout. A reception and concierge desk welcomed visitors and helped guide them through this illuminating display.
The Rogers design team worked with Kichler to create the perfect layout. We also provided all the installation services. This innovative new space is now a permanent install at Kichler’s Dallas facility.

Rogers Acquires Lucarelli Designs & Displays
The Rogers Company, an award-winning designer and manufacturer of branded environments, today announced its acquisition of Lucarelli Designs and Displays.
Lucarelli Designs and Displays provides design, fabrication, and production services of custom trade show exhibits, corporate interiors, and meeting spaces. Founded in 1981, Lucarelli has experienced tremendous growth, supporting over 400 clients and completing more than 8000 projects. This acquisition will enable continued growth and provide additional products and services to Lucarelli’s customer base.
As one of the top exhibit houses in the nation, The Rogers Company owns and operates more than 165K square feet of storage and fabrication space in Mentor, Ohio, and Las Vegas, Nevada. Rogers’ products and services include custom booth design, a large rental inventory, access to thousands of modular and portable booth properties, interactive, A/V and virtual technology, lead collection and tracking, roadshows and museum exhibits, corporate environments, and international reach. In-house design, graphics, production, I&D, and storage services round out the company’s suite of experiential marketing solutions.
Both based in greater Cleveland, Rogers and Lucarelli share more than proximity and industry. Dan Lucarelli, founder of Lucarelli Designs and Displays, got his start in the industry when Van Rogers, founder of the Rogers Company, hired him as a designer and sales representative in the 1970s. In keeping with this tradition, Rogers also hired the entire Lucarelli staff as part of the acquisition.
“We greatly value the existing relationships between the Lucarelli team and its clients. Bringing Bill Lucarelli and his team over to Rogers was a given,” said Rick Busby, President of The Rogers Company.

We added elegant gold accents to the existing black counters, and updated all their images and logos with backlit graphics to display their models and application techniques for Beachwood Brows, located on the second floor of Beachwood Place.

Spooktacular Halloween

We had a busy day on Friday at Rogers! We teamed up with our client, Rubbermaid Commercial Products to donate their unused trade show display products to local charitable organizations and schools in our area.
We pre-scheduled times with over 10 organizations to come pick up these amazing products. It was an honor to help facilitate the donations to Greater Cleveland Food Bank, Lake Humane Society, Asa's Angels of Hope, Lake County Dog Shelter, Mentor Public Schools, Lake-Geauga Recovery Centers, Project Hope for the Homeless, Crossroads Health Ohio, Geauga Humane Society's Rescue Village, Hannah's Home, Hershey Montessori Schools and Euclid Animal Shelter to name a few.

Mentor High School Intern – Class of 2019
We want to take a minute to thank our Mentor High School intern, Alexis Hennig, for her dedication and commitment over the past school year to support Rogers as a Marketing & Sales Support Specialist. This included various capacities from building presentations, initiating customer orders, tracking shipments, creating margin reports, and supporting invoicing. After graduation, Alexis plans to attend Lakeland Community College for one year before transferring to Cleveland State for international business and hospitality management, with a concentration in French.
Rogers is wrapping up its third year supporting the Mentor High School MBA Program that focuses on giving high school students both academic and hand’s on business experience. This has been a great experience for Alexis and for the employees here at Rogers. We have enjoyed the time with Alexis and wish her the best of luck as she begins to pursue her college degree.

We have enjoyed the time with the students and wish them the best of luck as they begin to pursue their college degree.
Mallory is heading to John Carroll University in the fall to purse a business degree and Lauren will be attending Bowling Green University where she too, will be pursuing a business degree.

The Rogers Company, an award-winning designer and manufacturer of branded environments based in the Cleveland, OH area, has been recognized in Event Marketers’ Fab 50 list, which recognizes the industry’s top exhibit fabricators throughout the United States.
The Fab 50 is an annual editorial list produced by Event Marketer Magazine, which selects top fabricators through an intensive application and judging process. A full list of recognized exhibit builders can be found at www.eventmarketer.com/fab50-2017.

Rogerians participated in the Bike MS: Buckeye Breakaway 2017
Three of our very own Rogerians participated in the Bike MS: Buckeye Breakaway 2017 over the weekend. Please help us congratulate Dina Jerinic, Ralph Engel, John Kovach and his brother Jeff in finishing the 100 mile ride on Day 1! And to Ralph and Dina for continuing on Day 2 to ride an additional 75 miles!
Together their raised $5,722 for Bike MS, which is the fundraising cycling series of the National MS Society and raises more money than any other cycling event for any other cause. To date, Bike MS cyclists, volunteers, and donors have raised more than $1 billion so people affected by MS can live their best lives as we stop MS in its tracks, restore what’s been lost and, end MS forever.

Rogers Supports Highbrook Lodge
The Rogers Company partnered with Progressive Insurance and the Kiwanis Club of East Geauga to raise money for the purchase of an 8 person used golf cart for Highborook Lodge in Chardon, OH! Highbrook Lodge has been providing a unique summer camp experience for those of all ages who are blind or have low vision. In fact, they were one of the first camps in the United States built specifically for individuals with vision loss. The additional money raised, went into fixing up the golf cart including; maintenance, new paint and seat belts! We are very proud to say we raised all the money needed by selling custom shirts to employees and from company/club donations.
We delivered the golf cart this week and our very own Karen Wilson with about 40 volunteers from Progressive Insurance spent time helping landscaping, weeding, mulching, painting and help with spring clean up to get the camp ready for this summer!
